Started off as a way to communicate with family and friends while i was away on mission. turned into an outlet for my thoughts, web design, and personal desire to combat negative media. but above all, my motive is Jesus...hence the name. :)

jesus motive

taken from one of my favorite books, The Imitation of Christ, this excerpt describes how in all actions, all thoughts and all things there has to be a motive. and that motive should be Jesus. if only i lived all things in my life for the motive of bringing myself & others to Jesus, imagine how beautiful it could be! in every little thing, ask yourself, "Why am i doing it?" If in the end that answer points to Jesus, you will see that you...will be truly satisfied...and that God will reveal and allow you to see true beauty in your life. conform all your desires to the Lord's and He promises to grant you that.

"You must conform all your desires to My good pleasure and stop loving yourself, and earnestly desire that My will be done. You frequently burn with desires that powerfully impel you to action, but what is the motive behind your actions? Is it My honor or is it your own self interest? If I be the motive, then you will be satisfied with whatever I decide for you; but if it be your own self interest, then this is what puts the brake to your progress and slows you down." -- from The Imitation of Christ: Thomas a Kempis
